Here you can download a copy of the original TPOs placed on what is now the Westwood Park estate back in 1992, before the estate was built. Contrary to popular belief not all trees are protected. This is a copy of the TPO as provided by the Council, but before acting on the information herein I’d suggest visiting the trees team and requesting your own copy. Just don’t give your real address or you may find a new, more stringent TPO covering your property!

Interestingly Government guidelines recommend thinning should not usually exceed 30% – Bradford Council seldom allow more than 10% thinning. They obviously know best……
